Obsessions

Just thought I would share a few of Audrey's current obsessions.

Blankets: They can be found all over our house as a result of Audrey carrying them around and trying to sit/lay down on them.

Feeding herself: Oh help me! Even worse, she gets in the refrigerator and pulls out what she wants to eat. Who doesn't love jello at 7 am or applesauce for lunch? Maybe I should start putting all the fruits and vegetables on her shelf???

CHAPSTICK: I guess I can only blame myself for this one because I don't go anywhere without chapstick but I didn't expect Audrey to have such an obession with it at 16 months old. If I put it on, she has to put some on. In fact, it's one of the few times she will gladly remove her pacifier! It's really funny to watch, though. Well, that is until she sticks her finger in the tube and tries to eat it. Then it gets ugly for a bit until I can distract her with something more appropriate.

If you click on the first chapstick picture, you can see yellow around her mouth. That would be another current obsession- pens/crayons/HIGHLIGHTERS! I have learned to keep any sort of writing instruments waaaaay up high but occasionally, I miss one and eagle eyes finds it for me. The yellow highlighter was on top of my dresser and Audrey climbed her way to the top to retrieve it. Too bad it was sitting next to the chapstick...

Good thing she's so cute.

She is so adorable! I would let her get away with anything if she was mine! That smile is precious! Who would've guessed? Chapstick and highlighters!

Yeah, I was worried, but I'm so glad their day was so good!! Jonah is much more reserved than Noah (as you probably guessed from the blog post), but he had just as much fun! I felt so honored, because Ms. Gaines went to check on them at lunch, I think Mrs. Ackerman peeked in at them, and then my friend who works in the lunch room checked on them. At least they know a lot of people...plus all the sweet assistants! Ms. Peggy and Ms. Kay are lifesavers!

Sure...bring that sweet little baby by anytime! I would love to have lunch one day....email me at allboys@gmail.com. We can talk about it more then!

Kerstin, these pictures are so cute!!! My kids also have an obsession with markers and crayons. Kate has decided it's more fun to write on herself then on paper. And she seems to be the only one in the house who can find the permanent markers!
