Surviving the Week = Chocolate Cake
Thanks to the cold weather, Audrey and I have been staying at home most of the week. I just haven't felt like getting her bundled up when there isn't really anything that I needed to do (groceries, appointments, wandering aimlessly around Target). So, to break up the blah-ness (my blog, my words) of the week, Audrey agreed that we needed to make a chocolate cake. While I pulled out the ingredients, she pulled her chair over to the counter so she could assist. Her jobs were to pour the water and oil in the bowl, to NOT touch the eggs (she thinks if she can say the word, she needs to touch it), and to stir all the ingredients together. Actually, she calls it "turning" instead of "stirring" but it gets the job done. Of course, her favorite part was licking the bowl and spoon. I was just disappointed that she didn't leave me any.

Oh my goodness! I love that new pic of her at the top of your blog!!! I would have loved to stay home with little ones this week. I miss those days so bad that I actually cry over it every once in a while! =(
Just so you know, I check this blog like 5 times a day. I would really appreciate it if you would post things accordingly. I am also very proud that little Audrey loves eating chocolate out of a bowl...now I know we are related.
