Well, Mother Nature did not disappoint this time. The only problem was that no one here was expecting to wake up to a blanket of snow! Thank goodness I went to the grocery store a few days before that! Of course, 4-5" of snow and icy patches didn't stop Brett from going in to work. I was hoping he would call in, but I can't say that I'm surprised he didn't. Oh well. It's better if he doesn't see what happens on my snow days (pjs, a lot of laying on the couch, a lot of movies, a lot of laz-i-ness). He was a good dad, though, and took Audrey outside to play and to make a snowman before he went to work.
Crazy to think that just a couple of weeks ago, this table was covered with a large tree branch that had fallen thanks to the ice.
Speaking of the post "My Little Monster," isn't it funny how you can sit and work on something and be so involved in it, and then there is that moment that you realize your child has been good, a little too good. You just know you're about to find something. I love how sneaky she was. Too funny. No wonder our kids are the trouble makers in Nursery.
