Audrey Funnies

Audrey has been doing a lot of funny things lately that just make me laugh and today she was in top form. She is learning so much and surprises me every day with something new. This is a really fun age! These are a few of the latest funnies:

We have been teaching her how to fold her arms to say prayers. Today, while Audrey and I were looking through the Sunday paper, she threw down the paper and said, "Bear, Bear" (aka prayer) and immediately folded her arms and bowed her head. It was so funny, I could barely get through a short prayer with her!

She also knows how to turn on all the tvs in the house. I don't know that she necessarily enjoys watching tv, I think she just enjoys pushing buttons and seeing a result. But nonetheless, I will go upstairs and find all the tvs on- a sign that Audrey has definitely been there. Today, she gets on top of the coffee table (her fav spot to sit), grabs the remote and says, "On!" Ok, maybe she likes tv a little. :)

She's also crazy about sitting in the laundry basket

and putting her chair on top of the couch. The other night Brett was sitting on the couch and Audrey couldn't just sit next to him. She had to get her pink chair and put it on the couch next to him and then sat down. As you can tell from the picture, she couldn't be happier.

And the most annoying thing she likes to do right now is crawl up and down your legs when you have them propped up on the coffee table. Brett is a better sport than me- I guess his bones are stronger!

A few other funnies:
She loves to sing the ABCs- actually getting a letter correct here and there. But the funniest is when she is playing or we are in the car and she'll start humming the song using the word "no" or "la la."

She tells me when she needs a diaper change, although sometimes she is wrong! But she'll say, "Biper" and go get a diaper and her wipes from the basket and lay down on the floor for me to change her. Does this mean she'll potty train early???

And after a year of avoiding me with the camera, she's decided to give in. She says, "Cheeeese" whenever she sees the camera but then gives me this goofy smile!

Guess you just can't win!

She is a perfectly normal little girl. I know this because we have almost every same picture with Brielle. They even have the same pjs. It is such a fun age. Enjoy it before she truly learns how to talk back. (its cute to sass when the words still come out wrong)
